Beat me to it!Well let's see. They pay for the parking lot workers, security in the stadium, ushers, stadium utilities.
The blue white game parking pass was the white pass attached as the 8th parking pass on your parking pass sheet.

State police troopers working overtime security for the game, for example, are making far more than $20/hr. As far as I know, staffing-wise the BW game isn't too much different than a regular home game. There might be lower attendance so not as many concession stands, etc need to be staffed, but there's still a baseline that needs to be maintained whether a game has 60,000 attendees or 100,000. I think there's a lot more folks required to put on a PSU game than you might think, and they cost money - the press release from the university indicates 650 people staffing the event and a $70,000 cost just to clean up the stadium and lots after the game.and that's a half a million dollars???
lets say utilities are $100,000 which I doubt, but I don't know, that leaves $400,000 to pay those guys. It's a spring game so if we pay them $20 per hour (which translated over a 2000 hr yr (50 wks 40 hrs per week, ) is $40,000 per year, so $20 per hour, imo is reasonable. so now I just bought us 20,000 man hours!!! or 2000 people working a 10 hr day. If there are 60,000 people there, that is 1 worker per 30 people, for 10 hrs. Doesn't something seem off?? I don't have any skin in this game, so I don't care, but $500,000 for a spring game seems high.
again it does not matter to me, just seems high. Why not take the $70,000 paid to clean up the stadium and lots, and pay say the soccer teams, field hockey teams, etc to do that, so they can have some extra's in their budgets? I know a lot of teams back it in the day did it that way.State police troopers working overtime security for the game, for example, are making far more than $20/hr. There's also all the ancillary and support events that occur during the weekend. Portable toilets for the tailgating lots need to be rented, EMS equipment needs to be present, opening and staffing the museum and other facilities like the BJC open during the day, and whatever it costs to rent the equipment for the Fan Fest that typically gets set up on the east side of the stadium.

Thank you dwiz, eBay...thanks.It was attached to your other parking passes. It was the 8th ticket on the set. It used to be a season schedule, this time it was a parking pass.
Ah, I see that this has already been address. Well, they are on ebay for cheaper than $20. Gonna go that route.
ROTC & other groups ARE paid to do cleanup
as mentioned I know 'back in the day' they did this at UNC. The years back in the 80's when UNC was winning national championships in Men's Lacrosse, they cleaned out the football stadium after the game Sunday AM. If you wanted to be on the the LAX team, you were there to clean, no exceptions. All Americans like Mole Man (Michael Burnett) etc were all there.Something tells me that Erica Walsh isn't out on the recruiting trail telling high school kids "PSU is the place for you, we have great academics, we won the national title two years ago, we win the Big Ten seemingly every year, oh, and you'll get the opportunity to clean the football stadium after games, something that Stanford and UNC won't give you the opportunity to do".
I must have missed the comprehensive list of INCOME that is derived during B/W Weekend:State police troopers working overtime security for the game, for example, are making far more than $20/hr.
