Bo Nickal will be competing at 86kg this weekend in an attempt to earn a spot at the Olympic Trials on April 9-10.
The real shocker, however, is at 74kg, where 3 #1 overall recruits will be competing. They are: Mark Hall, Anthony Valencia and, believe it or not, Chance Marsteller.
It's good to see Chance back on the mat given his recent troubles at OSU, but I'm obviously rooting for Mark, who I think has to be the favorite among those three, as well as Bo.

I know flo has been reporting that Hall is going, but I dont see him on tracks registered wrestlers list.

Will be interesting to see if Nickal is a full 86KG. I like that track always posts the weigh-in results at these events.

That would be brutal. It's bracket format.

I think in the 96 trials they were ladders. The number 1 seeds got buys all the way up until the finals. The 96 trials were in Philly all up to the final round. I went and it was a great venue.

Only the two reigning world medalists at Olympic weights get byes to the best of three finals (Burroughs and Snyder).

Bo Nickal on the list of participants that is now up on track. Mark Hall is not.

Mark Hall was added to the list of participants and weighed in.

Bo Nickal weighed in at 83.5 KG (184 pounds). Doesn't seem like another year at 174 will be a big deal.
