I'm hearing that Gore is pulling out of the match due to injury.
Gore is out, they are trying to find a last minute opponent to keep Bo on the card this weekend.

I watched one of the guys fights on yutube just now. Its a step down in competition. Bo will take him down at will. The guy didnt have much stand up game, Bo will have a huge reach advantage
Bo Nickal will be remaining on the UFC 290. He is now scheduled to fight Valentine Woodburn. Woodburn is 29 with a 7-0 record. All of his pro bouts have been with the Combat Night Pro organization. His last fight was in August, 2022 when he beat Luis Melo (30-16-3) via unanimous decision to defend the CN middleweight title.
Gore claimed his injury was so bad he might be out a year. Hard time believing it’s new or just happened. He was doing a ton of talking. Feel he realized he signed up for an execution.
Why do you think it didn’t just happen? Even if he took a beating he would have gotten paid and probably pretty well considering it’s on the main card. Now he is sidelined and most likely won’t get a marquee matchup next time out. I highly doubt he’s just looking for a way out. Not how fighters are built

The main card should be incredible. Bo should win quickly but the other 4 fights are great matchups. 2 good title fights plus Whitaker vs DuPlessis and Hooker vs Turner. I’m looking forward to the Whitaker vs DuPlessis fight. Winner probably gets Adesana
