Bo Is Hilarious

Volk is so f’ing good. Best fighter in the world in my opinion

Impressive indeed, granted 3.8 seconds of action in that 38 second match. We might need to start calling him "10% Bo", since that is all that he needs.

Now the long 6 month wait until the next one. Let's hope he gets a top 5-10ish guy.

I don’t want him rushed against top talent but they obviously need to give him more than they have.

I’ve been wondering how he’s getting on the main PPV cards and I have two theories:

1) He pulls in casual fans from Penn State nation and increases PPV purchases;

and/or

2) It was in his negotiations as Bellator was prob also chomping at the bit to sign him. (They’ve been signing a lot of wrestlers.)

I just hope the hype train doesn’t turn fans against him.

Why a top 5-10? He hasn't earned it yet. Bo is ranked what 30-35? Plenty of guys to fight before the top 10.

I would like to see him up against Andre Petroski or Vitor Petrino next. Petroski is an up and comer with wrestling and BJJ background who has shown he can grapple with just about anyone. The storyline is there, too, because he called Bo out awhile back.

Petrino looked really good in his fight last night on the undercard. He's build like a house, agile, can strike really well, and got the submission last night. Like Bo, he's young and undefeated but not a ton of experience (though he has more than Bo). Would make for a good match-up.

I am anything but an MMA expert, but I think one of the challenges for Bo is that higher ranked guys don’t want to risk losing to effectively a newcomer with little upside to winning, and the middle and lower of the pack are also less inclined to want someone with the skills to humiliate.

Great take.

I think They should re-schedule the Tresean Gore matchup. Gore is a step up in competition from who Bo has been fighting and has some name recognition from the Ultimate Fighter. Not a top 10 guy but probably a top 20 guy. Bo has blown everyone out so it’s easy to say he should fight a top ranked guy but I hope they keep going like they are. Slowly increasing the competition while still putting him on the main card where he gets seen. A couple more fights and then feed him a top 10 guy. Someone mentioned Petroski earlier and I like that matchup but after Gore. Petroski is a good wrestler with a bit of experience and he has called out Bo. I actually think he said he has better wrestling which is just crazy talk. So far I love how the UFC is handling Bo

Gore isn't ranked that high.

For future pay per view events / sports/ etc

I hear that the streameast (Google it) website has a pretty good deal on them ;) I’m not saying it’s free. I just heard it was ;) shhhhh!!!! You are welcome !

Probably a little bit if this. I also think that Dana realizes the sport of wrestling creates great fighters. All of the Dagestani fighters are running through some of these divisions and they are allll wrestlers.

Joe Rogan is good friends with Dana and talks all the time about how elite wrestlers are like no other within the fighting community. Bo wasn’t good, he was elite and still is. Arguably could have been a world champion.

Cassar was in his corner too. You will see him make a run next. David Taylor also talked about potentially getting involved after the next Olympic cycle. These guys have a plan to take over the UFC and dominate. It’s coming to Happy Valley shortly.

That’s the site I use. Usually good quality except this last uFC there were a few hiccups and I missed a round or 2. Still well worth it

Phil Davis has had a nice MMA career.
