Anyone notice what he did last season at Miss. St.? #1 in total defense and tied for #1 scoring defense giving up 13 points a game.
I know Miss St. had 3 first round picks in this years draft, but Shoop is a great DC. I loved Shoop's defense while he was at PSU.
Not to get into another coaching debate, but I wonder if Shoop would have been able to secure some of those 4th quarter comebacks that killed us. When Pry took over at DC I remember him saying his scheme will stay the same as Shoop's. And for the record I am not saying this or starting this post to trigger a bash Brent Pry party. It's just an observation of Bob Shoop.
