It's just so important that during the next few weeks the team SEES results from all their hard work this past Spring and summer in the weight room and with the playbook, so that they feel they have already made serious progress at their position and in executing the playbook.

I wish we had a BWI drone hovering over the practice field, zeroing in on the faces of coaches and players alike to give us an inkling of how theyre coming together. Especially how they look post-practice. ( Hope Im not blowing BWIs cover on this....!)

Last season was so tough on the entire O, and their fragile confidence is still a huge work in progress. For things to work as hoped in Sep and beyond, hearing comments like: " Tough practices. man!" "The O is beginning to hold their own" "We are getting to be competitive at many more spots." " The D has a few issues." " Players A, B, and C are really surprising me." will be good news indeed.

But in reality we may hear little if any news, and have to go into the Temple game with blinders on about what to expect. But we can always hope there will be some subtle signs that things are "coming along." and that 2015 will be the most exciting season in a long time.
