1. Gilliken gives the D great field position
2. Our Scoring Defense has been impressive, even while we await a dominant player or two to emerge from among the front four ( eight - twelve.) .
3. SB shows he can score in every possible way, while awaiting a few holes to open. Amazing highlight reel plays the last two games in particular. Definite Heisman contender.
4. McS is still getting a feel for this years O but is throwing at an impressive 65%. Despite a lot of pressure and the lack of a dominant running game.
5. STs have really come to life. #11 is now an ST demon. A real force. In every game! And our returns are up.
6. DBs are the strength of the D, but the LBers are starting to make a mark. Great game vs IN.
7. We are forcing turnovers at a clip way beyond last year. Including Pick-6's and Scoop and Scores. Its been a long time since we wee so effective.
8. WR JJ is showing a steadiness to go with his size and good speed. Blossoming before our eyes. Big games ahead.
9. KOs have been steadily into the EZ with no or few returns. Nice job, but I wonder if the dual roles are cutting into his FG efficiency?
10. Lots of impressive talent still on the bench, or only seeing spot use. Some of these guys will make their presence felt in the second half of the season. Lots more to look forward to!
