I'm not sure if this has been discussed, I was in and out during the game.
But heres what I saw. Purdue guy gets wrapped up. Brisker comes in to stop his momentum and put him down. Whistle blows.
But Purdue guy makes a superhuman effort, and his knee DOESNT touch. He knows it, and continues the play; he doesnt stop his legs churning. So does Brisker, and finally takes him down.
I thought this was a bad call. Both Brisker and Purdue guy knew that he wasnt down, and continued to play.
This play had little outcome on the game. But in a close game, it could make a critical difference. Was there any comment on this play during or after the game?
