A few different notes to come out of today's pre-practice media availability with Cael Sanderson, including:
- Approximately, 3,000 tickets remain for Sunday's dual meet against Wisconsin (1 p.m.) in the Bryce Jordan Center. If they don't go, PSU's streak of 27 consecutive sellouts comes to an end.
- An update on the 165-pound weight class after Geno Morelli won the Nittany Lion Open Sunday with wins over starter Shakur Rasheed and last season's starter Garett Hammond.
- Sanderson said Jimmy Gulibon (133) and Matt McCutcheon (184) medical forfeited out of the NLO due to minor injuries. Gulibon suffered a sprained ankle and McCutcheon had back spasms, he said. Sanderson didn't know if either would be able to wrestle vs. the Badgers. I asked him about potential replacements for those weight classes.
