Cael is a freakin' magician.

I am pretty sure he doesn't partake, but I strongly recommend you never play poker for money against that man.

Let's face it, Cael is still pissed that they didn't win last year and he should be when they wasted 4 NC's.... It was there for the taking. He is leaving no stone unturned this year although he has had to settle for his second picks (Suriano and Wick were #1) in several weights but Hildebrandt, Berge, and Dean should add some nice points over a year ago. Need to get to 110-120 pts to win it comfortably.... right now it looks like Iowa and any others will struggle just to get to 100 pts. But a lot can happen in the next two months. Should be fun unless CoVid throws a wrench into the works.

Consider what our potential line-up was last March and what it will be this March, barring injury. He conjured a national contending team out of this air.

They were already going to be title contenders considering they had 4 national champs and 2 redshirt freshmen AA's. And they would have still been the favorites after the Spencer injury. The transfers just make them even moreso.

As Nomad put it, "Cael un-retired two guys this season".

I suppose that is pretty close to bringing someone back from the dead and does almost count as a magic trick.

Let's call it the "Lazarus Act", transferring a guy through the portal: from retirement to recruitment to return to the mat.
Loose him and let him go

I have a 50.00 bet to Wrestling for Life that Iowa hits 100 pts if they wrestle with their current line-up. Ayala and KemDog and Assad etc. PSU will need at least 110-118 to win this year. I am counting on them doing at least that much :)

Can you imagine if PSU landed Suriano and Wick? There would be a puncher's chance that Penn State could have put 8 in the finals. 125, 133, 141, 165, 174, 184, 197, and 285. It would almost be embarrassing...not.
