What a stupid game. And those ESPN announcers are all dipschlitz. "It hit the crossbar!" No, it didn't make it to the endzone, sparky.
Friermuth makes a key catch to help set up field goal with less than a minute left. Bears try a 65 yd field goal as time expires.....and hits the cross bar and drops short!
I'm glad we won, but Fields looks like the light bulb went on. He's going to be a good one. I'm glad we got them now.
Am a Bears fan. Officiating was trash on multiple occasions. Fields is improving though, which is a key goal for this season. It's sad how little ARob is part of this offense now, Fields seems to favor Mooney. Nagy is likely done after this season so I'm anxious to see what the future holds for the team and Fields.
So, replay showed the ball actually hit the ground very close to the goal line! From the end zone it looked like the ball hit the crossbar but it must have been lined up just right to create that illusion. Keep that in mind whenever you are presented with ‘irrefutable video evidence’.....
Wasn't able to get the game as I'm stuck in VA right now, but watched the highlights on YouTube this afternoon. What a poorly officiated game that was.
And I'm not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling for the Steelers going very far in the playoffs or making them at all. Ben just doesn't seem to have that same swagger, and the OL seems hit and miss at times. Also the lack of deep passes over the middle is a concern.
