I am scheduled to have a Watchman procedure for a newly diagnosed heart issue, atrial fibrillation. I'm wondering if anybody has had any experience with this procedure. My wife and I were watching TV the other night when the commercial for the procedure came on-I told my wife that this is what I'm going to have-and of course all the negatives associated with it were mentioned including the biggie at the end, death. I feel pretty confident going forward as I really want to get off the blood thinners, especially because of my autoimmune condition which, with the neuropathy, makes me more at risk to fall. So, any experience/info you're willing to share would be most appreciated. Thank you.
