Cassar

He is the only one that has said that. Would be crazy because I would figure he would go for April at the trials.

...was my mind playing tricks on me or did I really hear one of the announcers suggest that Cassar is working to possibly return for the Big Ten tournament?...
... maybe it was just a ghostly intrusion from a few years ago... :)

Just making an Olympic team is an amazing achievement and a golden memory, aside from any chance at a medal. Noone sane can blame Anthony for pursuing such a lofty once in a lifetime dream.

Somewhat selfishly though, I think Anthony's chances of winning back to back national championships is several times greaterer than simply making a spot on the US team.

Free is not folk, likewise the caliber of the world-class athletes that are larger than him, can not compare.

If he had another year to train at free alone, a solid shoulder, and maybe 10 more pounds of muscle I could see him making the team and having an outside shot at a medal.

This year, with only three months to recover, success at the NCAA's is the far easier path. Then again since when are 'easy path' and 'Anthony Cassar' synonymous?

I would love for Cael's reference to more changes in tree lineup to include him, but I think it not to be. No matter he gave me several all time memories I carry with me, and look forward to cheering him on. I hope we see him add the color red to his next singlet.

Is he going 97 or heaveyweight? Should probably going 97 but HW is probably easier, maybe? It'd be easier to get to the finals at 97. Same with Bo should be going 86 and Cox should take out Snyder at 97.
I'd like to see Cassar blasting Snyder with double legs over and over.

Pretty sure those ships have sailed:
Cox 86 the most iffy, but I’d still bet on it. Bo 97, AC 125. Cassar will have to reach the finals of Last Chance to qualify first.

I believe that Cael said Anthony's not even in classes now. He dropped them when he made the decision not to continue his collegiate career. Sounds like returning for Big Tens or NCAAs isn't an option.

His focus is being the best, strongest, most energetic he can be. Not the other names on the bracket.

That and he has said publicly that he's a 125, not going down to 97.

To be more specific: he has graduated and was enrolled only to maintain NCAA eligibility.

Correct, but nonetheless, he's dropped his classes and I'd presume that means there's no going back. We can put this one to rest. Best of like to the young man in his attempt to make the Olympic team.

Sometimes you crack me up. "He has said publicly..." you put that up like around here "He has said publicly..." means anything. If a poster wants Anthony the tank at 97 or 86, well by golly it is possible so let's talk about it.

Is this now the OKST board? 34 and Stalling?

Gonna guess that Mike wasn't impressed with Matt's riding ability :)
More importantly Matt was not impressed with Evan's deadlift ability from the bottom.
For that matter, Matt wasn't overly impressed with Evan's ability to initiate any offense.
