The best thing about this play is not his full speed but how he waited for the blocking, saw the hole to his left, made a quick cut….and then exploded through the hole.

Ok….thats four things but its four things he was lacking in. Seems he talked to Allen a lot, or studied film, but he learned patience and improved his vision.

Way back when he first committed I said his high school film showed him exploding into the line as fast as anyone I ever saw. But he had big holes in high school and needed to learn to find the holes. College Ds stunt and blitz a lot and college O lines use more zone blocking so the hole location isn’t always where scripted.
