It is less than three weeks until the opening game of the 2017 season for Penn State with Akron on Sept. 2 and Coach Franklin and his staff along with the players are approaching the halfway mark of preseason practice.
So, this afternoon at 1 PM is the perfect time to re-start my weekly chat session about the Penn State football program for the upcoming 2017 season. I firmly believe Penn State has a legitimate chance of being favored in 11 of its 12 2017 regular season games. They also have a legitimate chance of winning the BIG East Division crown for the second consecutive year, playing in the BIG Championship Game and quite possibly playing in the Rose Bowl and the College Football Playoff.
I'll keep my chat this afternoon as a running chat for most of the afternoon and into Wednesday evening. All I ask from our Lions Den members is to limit each of their posts to three questions.
It has been an extremely tough spring and summer for me personally and my entire extended family and its great to have the start of the 2017 Penn State football season right around the corner. This fall could turn out to be a very special 2017 Penn State football season.
