The game day Outlook is for 90% rain with 15-25 mph winds. Im not sure what kind of turf Ryan field has.

Natural grass, but like Notre Dame and Purdue, it's prone to some funky weed-grass that alters the color and texture in the fall.

...rainy weather usually is a leveling factor on most games, whether on artificial or natural turf...
...reaction time and tackling can be affected by inclement weather, though some coaches have said it can help a good passing game because the receiver knows where he wants to go... hmmm... :)

Live in Chicago and it has barely rained in weeks. I am going to the game and of course they are calling for rain. Was hoping it would hold off till the afternoon. As a matter of fact it is supposed to rain for the next several days. WE ARE !!!!!

Hope the team brings the right footwear. Weather has been great the last few weekends here. Of course it rains game day.

Beautiful morning here in Chicago. Looks like the rain may hold off til post game.

It'll stay dry to mid-afternoon.....but more wind than we've had in weeks. Very breezy!
