Natural grass, but like Notre Dame and Purdue, it's prone to some funky weed-grass that alters the color and texture in the fall.

...reaction time and tackling can be affected by inclement weather, though some coaches have said it can help a good passing game because the receiver knows where he wants to go... hmmm...

Live in Chicago and it has barely rained in weeks. I am going to the game and of course they are calling for rain. Was hoping it would hold off till the afternoon. As a matter of fact it is supposed to rain for the next several days. WE ARE !!!!!
