In recruiting battles - timing is everything.
Harbaugh just handed us a gift because he didn't plan things out, nor did he know what his opposition was doing. Any recruiting coordinator's office knows to investigate what the opposition is doing with all recruits.
For instance, I would assume that Harbaugh knows that CJF is visiting Hudson tonight. He should text or call him tonight and send an assistant to his school tomorrow. It's part of the game/counter game.
However, Harbaugh just processed Rashad Weaver, of all of his 'processed' commits, on the day that CJF just happened to be 9 miles south of Rashad Weaver's home visiting Dredrick Snelson. What an easy pickup at a position of need. CJF only had to pay $2.50 for an extra gallon of gas in the rental car. Harbaugh thought he was doing us in with negative recruiting and flipping kids like Dwumfour - but in the end, we may come out a few steps ahead - add Shelton, possibly the Weaver kid, AND UM gets to keep Nordin or not.
