I think a lot of reasonably optimistic fans would have predicted before the season that PSU would be bowl eligible after the Purdue game at 6-2. However, they would have most likely predicted the 2 losses would have been to Michigan and Ohio State.
So, are you happy with the way things turned out, or would you rather have had a close win over Pitt and a close loss to OSU?
Losing to Pitt is obviously tough to take; but I think the win over Ohio State does so much more for the program, I'm happy with the way it turned out. Having all those recruits in our stadium for the huge, unexpected win, is preferable to rubbing Nardog's face in a loss (as satisfying as that would have been).
