Was sitting at Mat 1 at the start of the final round and who comes up and sits in my row but coach Casey. He sat down during a 5th place match but the next two matches were 1st place finals. 125 Real Woods vs. Joey Silva, followed by 130 Jacori Teemer vs. Hunter Dusold.

He watched both matches pretty intently before he started paying attention to his phone (during my guys match, lol).

Fairly sure he was watching Teemer during second match (not that hard to figure out, lol). I watched a couple Teemer matches, he looked very good, long arms, not a big frame.

First match, not sure, but Im guessing he was watching Woods, although Silva beat him 5-1 or something like that. I could be wrong about that because Silva is a stud, but I still was impressed with Woods even in the loss.

Silva was noticeably thicker with much more horsepower than Woods. Thought Woods looked quicker and more technical than Silva but just couldn't finish against the much stronger kid. Woods looked the part of a future 125.

Hey Dice...glad you mentioned this, as it shows once again the 365-day/year nature of being a college wrestling coach and/or assistant wrestling coach. In another thread, Cael was seen at WNO...and we know about all the trips this past summer to Turkey, Mongolia, Rio, and other places...and those are the trips folks know about ;). On October 10, official practices start, and on November 1, the season. Cael, Casey, Cody, and Adam...and now Jake, are truly committed to PSU and NLWC Wrestling. Oh...and somehow they manage quality time with their families, which is also very important to these guys!!
