Coach Franklin should come out strongly and say that he does not share Herbstreit's MISCHARACTERIZATIONS about the PSU Student-Body and their support of him and the program, especially during the daO$U game (and Herbstreit's nonsense about the student section disrespecting Franklin and the team during the daO$U game is utter bull$hit and nonsense which I know for a fact as I was there with my 12 year old son, his friend, my niece and her husband -- the atmosphere at that game ESPECIALLY THE STUDENT-SECTION was extremely loud and disruptive to daO$U and Herbstreit trying to claim otherwise is just disgraceful bull$hit!).

Coach Franklin should come out strongly and tell this @sshole to STFU and stop attempting to speak for him AND THAT HE DOES NOT AGREE WITH ONE DAMN THING HE SAID. And that the student-body has been nothing but supportive of him and the team.....that the team has a special relationship with the students and there is no other student-body in the nation that would camp out for a week before the daO$U game "whiteout" to get the best seats! Coach Franklin should put that POS Herbstreit in his place in no uncertain terms!

Beyond that Sandy Barber should write a formal letter to E-spin drafted by PSU's lawyers telling them to cease and decist from the multiple SLANDERS regarding Sandusky, Paterno and the Football Program as lie after lie was broadcast by this POS, rag, yellow-journalism media outlet especially by that hack Mush Mouf. The criminal charges brought against Sandusky DID NOT HAPPEN under "Paterno's watch" as Mush Mouf claimed - that is utter BULL$HIT and complete slander - they were brought 13 years after Sandusky retired in an agreement with the Senior PSU Administration that gave him "Emeritus Status" for distinguished service and in which PSU the Institution SIGNED CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENTS with Sandusky's Personal Charity which, among other things, INDEMNIFIED THE UNIVERSITY (hence the reason Sandusky was reported to TSM in 2001. Just so you know, Herbstreit was QB for tOSU from 1989 to 1992. He is famous, his senior year, for QBing tOSU to a 13-13 tie with Michigan. This tie game was called "one of the greatest wins in tOSU history" by their President. In his time at tOSU, tOSU finished Tied for 7th, Tied for 3rd, 5th and Tied for second in the BIG standings. The W/L records are 4-6-1, 8-4, 7-4, 8-4, and 8-3-1. (he only started his final year, his dad was a lettermen for tOSU in 1960) This PSU team has already surpassed anything KH did while at tOSU.
