As most of you know, the other “coach” on the board (I use the term loosely) declined my invitation for a coach off, but I won’t allow that to prevent me from offering some of my insights. Below are my first ten plays if I’m Tyler Bowen next week.
1. Hand off up the middle to Noah Cain (37 yard gain)
2. Smash route to Hamler (6 yards)
3. QB Draw from Clifford (5 yards)
4. 18 yard post from Freiermuth for a touchdown.
5. 2nd possession, outside zone rush by Devyn Ford for 89 yards to the 1 yard line.
6. Clifford under center for the QB Sneak and TOUCHDOWN
7. 3rd possession, Hamler in the wildcat for a 54 yard gain
8. Draw to Cain for 8 yards
9. Swing pass to journey for 65 yards
10. Slant to Daniel George, 38 yards and the touchdown
Up 28-0 at half due to a defensive score.
