between 10 and 11 grade new Fball coach comes to my son high school, from a smaller out lying school. Up and coming guy with winning reputation. He makes all these speeches about being a Christian and becoming part of the community having his family become part of the community, investing his life in school and community blah blah blah. End of the season he abruptly bounces to another bigger more prestigious school, just like that. My son meets a kid at summer camp that summer and kid all excited about this new Fall coach they got, how great he is and how he going to be there long haul, investing in school and community and blah blah blah. My son tells this kid, don't believe it he will bounce at first opportunity for next bigger opportunity. Kid "oh no no no he really going to stay here". End of season coach bounces to college position. Cannot fault a person for building their career and moving up and using one position as stepping stone for next. We all do that in our careers. The bald face lies this guy told about his intentions and invoking his Christianity was well lets just say more than little hypocritical. Higher up the food chain more self serving the coaches become. Lesson do not believe anything a Fall coach tells you.
