Casey was on with Jeff, and Bo was the guest wrestler, followed by the track coach. Pretty good show tonight, including several references to "message boards", and a question/answer from Bo on social media.

Great comment by Casey, fielding a question about how the coaches approach the national scene, rankings and so on, to assess how Penn State might perform:
Casey: "We get on the message boards and see what everybody else says."
Byers: "And then you have to adjust accordingly depending on what they're telling you."
Casey: "That's right. So, if you guys could just keep us up to date on that that'd be awesome."

Obviously the message isn't getting through.
Dunk, we need to schedule a board meeting to be followed by an all hands meeting with the coaches, wrestlers, trainers, and admin staff.

I wonder if my input on these boards is less meaningful to Cael because I am a bandwagon fan from another school? I wish I was able to actually influence more- I really would like to tweak the schedule and have at least some say in recruiting. I know your reading this Cael- I watched every home match except about 3 you wrestled in your ISU career. That should count for something...plus I was on forums complaining about things when you were a Cyclone. I still think we should have pulled Varner's shirt.

as for why you're having trouble listening to it, well, we could only guess. There are ads at the beginning of the show, but you can advance past them with a little bit of work with the mouse. (And I always get frustrated that there are ads, then Ironhead does an intro that provides no info to anyone that's a rabid follower of the program, then they go to ads once again. Since we get this for free, I try not to publicly complain about the ads. You'll have to advance to the 8:45 mark to get to where Casey Cunningham joins the show.)

On my iPhone, from Safari, the link just works fine. On my Mac, with my Safari settings, I get a thing in the window that says "Click to use Flash". So, maybe your browser restricts Flash but doesn't give a nice message to let you know? Just a hypothesis. [edit: i.e., maybe the browser is set to "deny" instead of "ask" regarding Flash content?
I'm getting more and more convinced that daily Message Board reading is a team requirement. The fun of dodgeball is wearing off, and so they spend a half an hour each day reading these comments. Not only that but they have a mole that throws shit out to give the team a good laugh.

Casey should just search all of spykers, 21Guns & LemonPie posts. That will carry us to the title.
kids in school would certainly have more thoughts then this... "I would like to see them go 2 minutes let alone 7"; "this guy doens't have anything else better to do".... too name a few that are 'clean'
Yeah, he and Byers laughed their way through it. He followed it up with a more straightforward answer.
Nice interview with Bo at the end too, talking about decision to move up to 184 as well as an interesting take on improving by creativity; continually trying new moves.
