Cael is now alone in 3rd place all-time for Penn State dual meet wins. On Friday night, against Bucknell, Coach won his 128th. Bill Koll won 127 dual meets as a Penn State Coach.

It'll be several years to reach Rich Lorenzo and Charlie Speidel's numbers.

Cael doesn't dwell on records, he's at PSU to develop young men, and along the way, win championships. That said, they are a tangible measure of success. The GSR and APR rates are another, on the academic side of things...for retention and graduation of the student-athletes.

I read the other day on a forum that I can't post on that Doug Schwab is paid entirely by private funding sources and not the university. I highly doubt that, but, as kind of an aside, what does PSU pay Cael?

Roar... just another consideration...back in Speidel's time teams only wrestled 7 or 8 dual meets...
...furthermore. wrestlers only had 3 years of eligibility so individual records are also not comparable...
