Idiocracy. Reminds me of a former workplace... 🤣

Good old A Treat Birch Beer! Did anyone buy A Treat and restart production? Their Orange and Ginger Ale were also terrific.

Jaindl turkey farms bought A Treat. They originally had Coca Cola Lehigh Valley make it and bottle it for them. I do not believe that Coke location no longer makes or bottles anything anymore.

In 2014, we tool a family trip to Disney world. On our visit to EPCOT. there was a pavilion that was by the fountain behind Spaceship Earth where they had "Sodas of the World" where you could sample trial sized sodas from around the world.

Coke. But when I stopped drinking it when COVID began, I lost 25-30 lbs w/o otherwise dieting, working out. HFCS is bad!

Here’s all you need to know. Pepsi drinkers will drink Coke if only Coke is available. Coke drinkers will order iced tea if only Pepsi is available.
My observation is the exact opposite of yours, although many will drink either.

I posted Fresca above, but it made me think about another soda from my past I used to like. Does anyone remember Wink?

I love Fresca. I brought it to my Sister in Laws home for a party (I don't drink) and all of the under 21 kids now want me to get more and more.

Sadly, I've not been able to find it since the pandemic. I am told there is a shortage of Aluminum and they are allocating their short supplies to the better selling brands. Now, I've been on this cleanse for over a month and don't want to go back so it may be kaput for me.

It's in Disney Springs (formerly named Downtown Disney) now and it is much bigger.

edit: The ”store” is much bigger, though Disney Springs is as well; and, it’s now a store. It’s no longer free.

Used to love Wink. I believe, though not certain, that A-Treat's Grapefruit soda tastes very similar to Wink.

Coke from a fountain is fantastic! That said, I’ve always enjoyed Pepsi too. Always thought it was funny how serious the two sides of the “cola wars” took things. Life’s too short.

Man have you got that backward sir!

Coke drinkers WILL drink Pepsi if Coke is not available.

Pepsi drinkers will not drink Coke if Pepsi is not available. They will order sweet-tea if Pepsi is not available.

Ex-bartender and former night-clubber and Las Vegas casino hound I am.

Amen.

But, if that is what you have experienced, so be it.
