Colin Cowherd Rose Bowl re-cap from Tuesday

It was excellent...I was really impressed. He said that he were a recruit he does not know how he could say no to Franklin and he said that if it came down to Meyer or Franklin he would choose Franklin.

Cowherd has his faults, but he's got some smarts, and isn't afraid to call it like he sees it, instead of following a general narrative.

Not too smart. No team has won a NC if they lost a game by more than 13 points? IIRC PSU lost to Alabama 42-21 in 1982 but came back to win the NC.

He failed to mention that that senior-dominated UM team beat a young and VERY INJURED PSU team. I'm not saying PSU would have won that game if Bell, Wartman, Cabinda, Haley and Schwan would have played. But, it wouldn't have been a blowout.

i think colin was spot on with his analysis of penn states loss to michigan.

I am thankful and thrilled with the way this season played out. The one thing I feel that is a major hurdle for JF and PSU Football to clear, is to prove that this team can and will be tough on the road. We played well in the championship game and offensively at the RB.....but I don't think the atmosphere could be deemed hostile.

i disagree. the last major hurdle is for coaches to figure out how to play the 1st half the same way they play the 2nd half
