College Football Playoff Rankings

Georgia should be 4, at least they have two wins over top 15 teams, Bama has none.

I don’t know if they will be or won’t be (#4)...... but only an idiot woulda’ thought the B10 was in position to get 2 into the invitational - even BEFORE the PSU loss

Oh, we definitely were if Clemson doesn't win out. Clemson is the key.

My guess
1. LSU
2. Ohio State
3. Clemson
4. Georgia
5. Alabama
6. Penn State
7. Oregon
8. Utah
9. Minnesota
10. Oklahoma

Really. Georgia lost to South Carolina which will have a losing record this year. Alabama lost to the #1 team in the country by only 5 points. LSU should finish the season undefeated. No way Georgia will be ranked over Alabama.

rankings are going to be really interesting. PSU has best resume of 1 loss teams, their loss isn’t as good as Bamas but it isn’t as bad as Georgia’s. I think Georgia and Bama end up 4 and 5 but after that, how in the hell can you put this together. How can you put Penn State ahead of Minnesota??? How can you put Oregon, Oklahoma, Utah, Florida ahead of Penn State. Can’t wait to hear the reasoning and rankings.

Cmon. At this point Baylor and Minne belong ahead of us. They are undefeated in a major conference.

2. tOSU
3. Clemson
4. Georgia
5. Bama
6. Oregon
7. Utah
8. Oklahoma
9. Minnesota

But will they be ahead of us? And then why aren't they at 4 & 5? What makes Georgia, Bama, Oregon, Utah and OU worthy of having a loss and being ranked higher?

The Committee likes the the PAC12 and will drop Penn State lower. Maybe lower than Oklahoma too.

You guys are so mad about the sanction you're completely irrational and illogical. You all know we were ranked fourth before we flopped today, right?

you asked why they’d be ranked ahead of us. I gave you a reason. Our loss is more recent, fresher in everyone’s minds. I didn’t say it’s right, but it’s absolutely a reason they could be.

Would not be shocked if Minnesota climbs to #5. Their #17 was based on a schedule that didn't tell much. They got their quality win now.

I'm not sure how they handle this. OSU trucked Maryland. Nothing they did shows them any less of #1. LSU did beat Bama rather convincingly, but they have holes on defense that the Buckeyes have not shown.

Clemson to 3 is a no brainer. 4 is where it gets interesting. I think they move Minnesota to here. Alabama drops to 5. Bama could be 4 just as easily, they adjust and don't go away. I think we fall to 6, but could see SEC love boosting UGA to there. PAC stays where they are.

Baylor isn't getting any love until they can beat OU. I don't think they get into the playoff even if they are undefeated. All the 1-loss teams should become the biggest Auburn fans. Bama getting ready to slip in without even winning their division again.

PAC12 needs both Oregon and Utah to win out and create an all 1-loss CCG, but still need help getting in.

I don't know why so many of you think teams with losses deserve to be ahead of Minnesota now. Especially Utah and Oregon. And Baylor, who keeps just barely beating crappy teams.
