Saw the report on the news the other day. They broke the record for the teddy bear toss (previously held by Calgary). Great job by the Bears fans!!

Calgary has their teddy bear toss coming up and their fans are motivated to take the record. Also they play in a much bigger Arena so more fans kind of easier to do out there.

My family goes every year, always a fun spectacle to watch. Only problem is it takes about 30 minutes to clear the ice...sometimes you get lucky and the Bears will score with a few minutes left in the period. This game, the goal came at the 10 minute mark...like having 3 period breaks. Always a lot of fun and for a good cause.

Old record was 28,815 teddy bears in Calgary in 2015. Hershey collected 34,798 bears last night (attendance was 10,046).

Calgary up next this weekend and trying to get the record back.

Calgary had their teddy bear toss game over the weekend but were unable to overtake Hershey. They collected 29,635 bears at their game. Another very good result in a great hockey tradition at this time of year.

There’s something about the older arenas that just have more character and atmosphere compared to most newer arenas.
