From the Cowboy SBN site: "The Cowboys announced today that McGovern will be placed on injured reserve with a pectoral strain. Since McGovern did start the season on the 53-man roster, McGovern will be able to return to the team off of IR after eight weeks, if he’s healthy enough to contribute."
Seems in general that the torn pectoral injury is a lot more prevalent than 15-20 years ago, particularly with O and D linemen. Is it? And if so, why?
Hope Connor gets well soon and stays on the active roster.
