One of the craziest matches I've ever seen. Probably #2 on the list. In 1973, my high school team fell behind Pequa Valley 35-0 at the halfway point. We won the match 36-35 - getting the max of six points for each of the last 6 matches. Our coach was so happy, he allowed the cheerleaders to sit with us wrestlers on the way back. I was especially happy because I happened to be dating one of them at the time. :)

Anyway, Lehigh led 17-3 at the break today and looked to have matters in hand. Unfortunately, they wound up losing 21-20. Preisch was pinned in the neutral position by Realbuto in the third period (score was 0-0 at the time). Vollaro came out with a 21-17 deficit and showed no inkling of trying for bonus points. Parker was apparently injured during the match with Penn on Friday night and the true freshman subbing for him (Joe Lobeck from Lancaster Catholic) managed a tight loss to Mark Grey (6-4, which looked very good for Lehigh at the time) at 133.

Note - I seem to have been given some bad info at Grace Hall. Lobeck also wrestled Friday against Penn.

Parker got hurt in the finals of the Southern Scuffle, and hasn't been back since. As for Vollaro, he never scores very much.

Preisch and Realbuto were tied 4-4 in the 3rd at the time.

You are correct. My bad. It *felt* like 0-0. ;) Realbuto had a really nice leg attack earlier in the match, which kind of surprised me. I think it was one takedown each and two escapes each when things ended.
