UNC with Ramos going to be tough to beat. Also, I'd prefer Mejia who can go 125, unless the staff thing Suriano can hold 125 for 4 yearsHager now confirming this......and guess who is in the top 5....
Iowa clearing room for need weights. This is good for them, unfortunately. They already get lightweight depth with Wagner and Rathbun.
UNC might be where he ends up, but Renteria and Cortez are also close.UNC with Ramos going to be tough to beat. Also, I'd prefer Mejia who can go 125, unless the staff thing Suriano can hold 125 for 4 years

Mejia is not wanted by Penn State. Suriano will be a career 125. If 159-0 receives a commitment from Fix, he is seen as a 133 by the decision-maker.

Exactly LemonPie. Need Berge and Warner more....
Replaces Sorenson would be there plan, no?
Who, Brody Berge?
Sounds like Cael thinks he has a chance.Mejia is not wanted by Penn State. Suriano will be a career 125. If 159-0 receives a commitment from Fix, he is seen as a 133 by the decision-maker.
What weight is Renteria projected at?
Not sure if it's much of a deterrent but having Nick Lee coming in at 141 in the same class could be an issue. I guess he (Lee) could project to 149 eventually, but I'm not sure that will happen for another couple of years....pretty hard to say how he will grow.
I've seen Lee wrestle a couple of bouts; haven't seen Renteria wrestle. Intermat has Renteria at #5 at 120; Lee is #3 at 132. I really like Lee's aggressive style on his feet, he's going to be very good. I'm sure Renteria will too. Lee came very, very close to beating Red in the IN state finals.Who would you say is the more accomplished/refined prospect Today? Renteria or Nick Lee?
Well, that should work out just fine then given that the timing with Cortez would be about right. Also, this assumes that Suriano stays at 125.He's going to be a good one. Tough, hard-nosed and has been brought up right. A little
story about him: At trials this year, he didn't make weight and had to wrestle up. He got to the semi finals and was going to have to wrestle his OPRF teammate, Jaime Hernandez. He told me that if he had originally planned to go that weight, he would have but his Dad and him talked and that they felt that his teammate shouldn't be punished; Jaime did all the right things and JRent didn't so there should be accountability for not making weight so he forfeited the match.
That's the type of kid somebody is getting...BTW, I see him starting out at 133 and going 141.
Sounds like you don't think Renteria is a big need.Once Cortez serves his two seasons at 133 and final season at 141, the 133 weight class could be manned by potential recruits such as Fix, Brian Courtney, or Max Murin.
Lee also finished 3rd at JR world team trials. Lost in the challenge tournament finals to Seth Gross, who beat Gulibon at nationals. Beat Taylor Lamont in the challenge semis.I've seen Lee wrestle a couple of bouts; haven't seen Renteria wrestle. Intermat has Renteria at #5 at 120; Lee is #3 at 132. For some reason 141 has been one of the hardest weights for Cael to fill. So far ZR has been his only AA at that weight.141 sounds good to me! That's a thin weight for us.
Nice story Azchief. I like character and that shows good character! He's going to be a good one. Tough, hard-nosed and has been brought up right. A little

Does Nick Lee then go to 149 or redshirt and fill in after Cortez leaves?
