The kid is not yet old enough to walk into a bar and order a beer without a fake ID. The idea that he would be a top draft pick this year is stupid, even if it is true. Not saying he might not be a top pick, because there are lots of dimwits from terrible pro teams drafting early, but I doubt HE is that stupid.

So, he is coming back. He WELL understands what he has to work on. I am excited to see him develop, and relieved AND confident it will happen regardless.

Drew needs a sports psychiatrist, not a new qb coach.

Drew needs wide receivers who can get open as much as anything. But I also think he should be working with a sports psychologist on the mental aspect of his game. I don't think ND was doing anything that scared/confused him. I think he psyched himself out.

From my perspective Drew has shown a significant improvement each year he has been here. And that’s with mediocre receivers excluding the TE’s. I expect Drew will be a significantly better QB this coming September than he was in the season just completed. And that’s whether there’s an upgrade in the receiver room or not.

Drews and Ethans QB coach is Brad Maendler in Ohio. Ethan seems to have better footwork but just observations from film. QB fundamentals have changed over the years in part by the off balance different arm angles displayed by Rogers and Mahomes. If you watch some of Drews HS film you see a lot of different angles and footwork. He seems to revert to some old habits. FYI during the PSU/Minn game Danielson was orgasmic about the Minn QB quick release and ability to throw off his back foot. Go back and watch and listen. Gary Danielson seems think its the and attribute not many have. Interesting.
