Have they announced the full line up for PA? I saw a post on another forum that Gavin Park is in at 120.

Max Murin is in at 138. I am assuming it will look similar to the following:

120 - Gavin Park
126 - Austin DeSanto
126 - ???
132 - Brian Courtney
138 - Max Murin
145 - Jarod Verkleereen
152 - Cam Coy
160 - Eric Hong?
170 - Mikey Labriola
182 - Travis Stefanik
195 - Jake Woodley
220 - Brian Kennerly
285 - Brendan Furman

Not posted on their website yet. But, other than 160 and 220, the PA team seems straight-forward (assuming everyone accepts the offer). To me, the big question is if they decide to keep the 2nd 126/132 match as advertised.

- 120 - Gavin Park, Brookville, 1x
- 126 - Austin DeSanto, Exeter, 1x
- 132 - Brian Courtney, Athens, 2x
(2nd match at 126/132: Zack Trampe, Council Rock South, 1x)
- 138 - Max Murin, Central Cambria, 2x
- 145 - Jarod Verkleeren, Hempfield, 1x
- 152 - Cam Coy, Penn Trafford, 3x
- 160 - Eric Hong, North Allegheny, 3rd AAA or Ryan Farber, Northern Lehigh, 2nd AA
- 170 - Mike Labriola, Beca, 2x
- 182 - Travis Stefanik, Nazareth, 1x
- 195 - Jake Woodley, North Allegheny, 2x
- 220 - Brian Kennerly, Upper Darby, 1x or Cole Nye, Bishop McDevitt, 2x
- 285 - Brandon Furman, Canon McMillan, 1x

I can't see them selecting Hong. My thought is they figure a way to get Oliver(2X champ) in that slot. I'm also thinking Courtney wrestling Fix with Trampe at 132.

I'm not sure Oliver could make 160+5. I am assuming it will be Desanto and Fix and some combination of Mejia/Arujau and Courtney/Trampe. Willie tweeted that Fix's camp wants Desanto

Probably be close to the following... Does not look like an overly strong WPIAL team
120 - Vincent Distefanis
126 - Matt Oblock/Dillan Jeffrey
132 - Hunter Baxter
138 - Dom Means
145 - Jake Hinkson
152 - Kody Komara (bumped from 145)/Logan Witwicki
160 - Caleb Baxter (assuming Hong is on the PA team)
170 - Alec Shaw/RJ Hall
182 - Nino Bonaccorsi
195 - Colin McCracken/Eli Grape
220 - Billy Korber
285 - Roman Macek

As of today, nothing from the DD yet regarding Trampe. I'm assuming they are trying to contact the USA kids regarding weights if Fix is going to wrestle DeSanto.

Zack just turned down another all-star match because his much less-celebrated knee is also scheduled to go under the knife because of a ligament and meniscus injury suffered during the season, but the DD would most likely change the equation on that (will also require some scrambling to get him home early from his senior trip). Not sure, will just have to wait to see what they are thinking. Anything is a bonus as it was obvious Courtney was going to be the well deserved choice as a 2x champ and 3x finalist at 132 originally.

This was also my thought. There is a weight allowance that I think is fairly generous. I'd like to see them try to get Oliver in at 160lbs.

I'm sure someone will mention this eventually, so I might as well be the first - this event is no longer officially called the Dapper Dan. Right?

When you knock the King from his thrown it seems like you paint a pretty big target on your back!

Yeah, but it was silly to change the name so we should just continue to call it the DD since everyone knows what we're talking about when we have threads like this. Otherwise we'd have a bunch of people asking if the Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic used to be called the Dapper Dan.

Yeah, now picturing Fix sitting in a lounge chair, gold chains, sunglasses and completely white outfit, with scantily clad women fanning him and feeding him grapes, a couple of burly men standing, arms folded, with deadly serious looks on their faces.
The new "Orangebanger".

Fix isn't going to be in it anymore. He is going to focus on freestyle. I think the matchups will look like:

120 - Courtney vs. Park
126 - Mejia vs. Desanto
132 - Arujau vs. Courtney
138 - Gomez vs. Murin
145 - O'Conner vs. Verklereen
152 - Hovis vs. Coy
160 - Allar vs. Oliver
170 - Romero vs. Labriola
182 - DePrez vs. Stefanik
195 - Warner vs. Woodley
220 - Singletary vs. Kennerly
285 - Hillger vs. Furman

My picks are bolded

Two differences in final lineup:

220 - Singletary vs. Nye

Additional 182 match - Jacob Hart vs. Bonaccorsi

I get that Park just won the AA title for his 2nd medal (7th last year), but tough to justify leaving Parker off the squad at 120. Even Werner over Park would be a better choice. The overall resume is not even close.

I know somebody is going to come on here and tell me how the DD committee values titles, but they just added Bonaccorsi to the main event - bringing a USA kid in at the last minute to do it. Bonaccorsi has 0 titles, even if the WPIAL guys think he is good enough to have one.

I don't agree with bringing in Bonaccorsi either, but that's not equivalent. He's the 2nd guy -- Stefanik is in as the champ.

The equivalency would be adding a 2nd match at 120 for Parker.

I think part of the reasoning behind bringing Bonaccorsi on is due to the fact that he is the prized recruit in Pitt's recruiting class and they want to showcase him in the PA dual. Just a guess. If he wrestles Hart, I expect it to not be close

Good point.

So what is the marquee matchup now? Labriola vs Romero?
IMO yes, though 126-145 all are interesting matches. Since they jumble the order, I wouldn't be surprised to see Verk go last since he's local to Pittsburgh.
