Yup. You’re basically f’ed if you can’t get the opponent out of cover 1/single high as the SS can come in the box and support the run. Especially against a team that has the athletes that OSU does. Exception being a team like Michigan the last few year who could beat em um up and knock OSU around. The other biggest weakness in man is a running QB, which we don’t have.Yesterday wasn't about adjusting offensively. It was about the receivers have no idea how to beat man, Wallace dropping a TD and horrific play calling once we got to "& goal" on the final series. There's not you to do to adjust when your receivers can't beat man. Not only does that allow single coverage but then they can also stack the box.
The main issue remains. We play the save style and philosophy as OSU. Except the again do it better, they have better athletes and execute better. We give them no issues schematically or stylistically, like Michigan does.
