Let's compare to some guys from the past

*feel is a better inside prospect than Zettel.. Zettel was light and had to play at too high of a motor as he gave up that size, a tweener who played inside for us. Zettel is/was a great athlete who made big plays, but got swallowed up the run game at times

*Odrick was quick but I don't think he was a strong as Cothran.. Odrick another tweener

*Austin Johnson - prob better than Cothran but I don't think he could play the amount of snaps that Cothran can (Johnson a bit of a load). Great, but many games he snap count limited his effetiveness, he seemed to tire easy.

Cothran was a Godsend for this team, we don't beat tOSU or completely dominate Iowa without him. This year our front 4 should be the weakness of our D.. some improvement by Cothran would take some heat off of green D Ends. Notice how the coaches praise every kid on the team but him.. I think they want him hungry. His legend goes back to the BOB days when he supposedly dominated on the practice field, but then off the field issues grounded him.

got those Bama-sized arms
