Despite a great start to class of 2022, PSU is still whiffing in Philly area too much. I just don't get it. Philly Metro has the most PSU alums.....

It it the rural vs city divide that is prevalent in many states? How can we expect to dominate PA when we can't get the best players from the biggest city in PA?

Is it PItt or Temple? Ohio State dominates Ohio and they are located in Ohio's largest city. They don't have an in state D1 rival. Ohio IS the Buckeye State. No Ohioan ever $hit on Columbus. Maybe Columbus is a big city with absolutely no big city problems.

At the end of day it doesn't matter where PSU gets it's players from. Just beat Ohio State and MIchigan. (PSU's main rivals) That's the only thing that matters. It's not PSU pre 1993 anymore. Just win the damn division. Just one mans opinion but outside of running a clean program(off the field development) and grad rates, that's all Franklin's performance should be graded on. We know that's all Ohio State and Michigan grade their respective coaches on. I.E...... Don't tell an Ohio State fan Jon Cooper was a good or great coach. His record sucked....against Michigan. Never mind his numeruous 11 plus and 1 loss seasons or how much talent he put in the NFL. He wasn't a great coach so he got canned. I'm willing to bet if PSU owned the division the way Buckeyes even if Ryan Day was undefeated against Michigan, he'd be gone.

PS: Larry Johnson and Saban can't retire soon enough.
