Standing on the sidelines for several hours in crap conditions wouldn't get many people stoked. Nonetheless, recruits had to be impressed with the energy of the environmment which can be imitated but never duplicated. A crowd that shows in awful conditions is also a crowd that shows in great conditions. That can't be lost on any but the most wishy washy of recruits. It had to have been a recruiting victory too!

I would hope that they’d be excited to play on a team that has the qb that PSU has, especially the skill players. These next several seasons could be another special period in the history of this program.

And the crowd stayed despite the game being over on the third quarter. Even Nessler and Danielson (not PSU lovers) we’re impressed with that fact.

That was pretty much my point. The crowd showed up loud and stayed loud.
