He's maybe not as talented as the freshman, but was a pretty nice role player thus far. I wondered why we didn't see him today.A few weeks too late it seems.
What roster is he on?
Yep. I’m sure focusing on academics can only be done at a school where he can play football.Protecting the redshirt
I meant the timing after 4 games…Yep. I’m sure coaching on academics can only be done at a school where he can play football.
Sorry to see him go. Understandable. Thought he could have been used more as a receiver out of the backfield. Good luck to him!Penn State RB Devyn Ford no longer part of the team

Only so many snaps to go around and the #4 guy just isn’t going to get many.Sorry to see him go. Understandable. Thought he could have been used more as a receiver out of the backfield. Good luck to him!
Agree. He did the math, and virtually eliminated any chance of injury prior to graduation/portal entry. — He’s got good skills, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him at the next level , in some capacity, in the next 2 years.—Good luck to himProtecting the redshirt
He would have gotten some today lolOnly so many snaps to go around and the #4 guy just isn’t going to get many.
My thoughts as well. Lee has had a history of fumbling and the to freshmen weren't taking care of the ball. Ford would have had a ton of carries assuming he didn't fumble either. He would have gotten some today lol
