As I listened yesterday, I was struck that only 1 of 2 scenario's can occur regarding Di Fi's handling of the letter.
1. She or her staff leaked the letter. - she denied that yesterday.
2. She had Ms Ford's letter for 6 weeks and said she was going to respect Ford's wish for confidentiality.
-- if you believed Ms Ford, Di Fi would request a confidential FBI investigation. Apparently happens all the time. OR
- you somehow question Judge Kavanaugh in private and/or in public hearings regarding these accusations. She did neither.
So if you believe Di Fi, she wasn't going to release the letter, or ask for an investigation, or question the judge in private or public. What is left? She was going to sit on the letter and do nothing, which would strongly suggest she didn't believe Ms Ford. Surely if she believed the accusation she would do SOMETHING right. I am left with believing she either lied or didn't believe Ms Ford. What other options are there?
