I thought they had a shot but they played awful in that half. Besides the bad play, Clemson has a speed advantage that is significant. ND had to play this game in front. Now they’re too far behind.

Agree on the speed advantage. It looks like Purdue against Auburn where it appeared the PU defenders were running in quick sand.

The key for Penn State beating Miami in the Fiesta was keeping the score close. ND knew coming in that they’d lose a high-scoring game. Everyone knew that if PSU fell behind Miami and had to pass their way to victory, it would have gotten ugly, just as we’re seeing today.

I make it a point not to think about Notre Dame at all.
