Wrapping up a week here in Disney World, and can't help but notice that it seems Penn State gear outnumbers anyone else by a 2 to 1 margin. I'm sure I notice it more regularly due to my own inclinations, but it definitely seems to be the most popularly worn school attire.

I've given and received a couple dozen "We Are"s this week.

That brings up something I failed to mention in posts about my recent trip. In Canada I observed no gear of any type from any American college. In Cleveland, and in the Rock Hall, I saw only a couple of OSU sweatshirts and nothing else. Perhaps it was just happenstance, but I found it odd.

Just got back Wednesday. Definitely saw quite a few others with PSU stuff but saw more LSU gear.

A friend from SoCal that I met online through the Penn State Parents Facebook page is in Disney this week visiting her PSU grad son who works there. I'm sure if you saw her she was decked out in PSU gear and that she gave you a very loud WE ARE....

The wife and I are passholders and take my son over about twice a month. While i do see PSU gear consistently, on any given weekend there is a large group from any random state because people do the group travel to save $$. One weekend i saw Indiana Hoosiers apparel all over, another weekend it was Wisconsin Badgers apparel

Leaving today and saw Penn State gear all over. Also saw a Penn Stater working The Barnstormer last night.
Lots of Eagles Super Bowl shirts with Mickey Mouse. Never saw before and was told they’re from Etsy.

"I'll take two things that are excessively expensive for no good reason" for $400, Alex

I had a different experience in Vancouver. I saw two other people with Penn State shirts.

I worked at Typhoon Lagoon for a semester (1996) and talked to a boatload of people based upon the common PSU connection. WE are everywhere.

I'm sure it varies quite a bit over time and our trip was a short one, so it was probably just a blip on the screen.

Some schools have more pride than others among their alumni, and actually think it has little to do with sports.

For example, in the area I live you will see a huge ratio of UVa over VT colors, although there are plenty of alumni from both.

I see a lot of stuff from Michigan and Penn State, as both schools' alumni have lots of pride. I hardly ever see Ohio State logos, although in fairness their alums probably don't have jobs.

I know what you mean. I live in New Jersey. Enough said.

I have a season paw to all fourDisney parks. Lion gear seen every trip. Pass is a great deal, free parking, admission to all four parks and purchase discounts. Only 20 blanked out days a year. $125 down and $44/mo. Five visits and you are then going for no cost. I live 41 mikes from Epcot.
