Actually I think the problem is the group of adults from the catholic whatever who came up with a stupid rule.dirty way to win a crown
He won thirteen other kids a district title.Dirty might not be the right word, but if I am the kid who worked my butt off all year and then don't get to wrestle in Districts.....I'm not too happy (assuming she is not the starter).
You can say what you want about the rule, this is supposed to be about the kids, and that coach just took away someone's opportunity to wrestle one of his biggest matches (again assuming she was not starter which is what it sounds like). If that is the case, selfish and not cool....imo.
Saucon Coach also sent out a kid that has been hurt at 134 forcing ND to send out Crookman. They injured defaulted the kid as soon as match started. Crookman would of bumped up if not for that play.

Poaching Crookham from Saucon Valley doesn't count?Nd will have the last laugh, not the last of this

so true. like so many faux outrage issues these days.I would think the Catholic Sports Committee that initiated that rule might want to rethink it.. With the recent history of the Catholic Church they have bigger problems than mixed gender wrestling in a public setting.
Just sayin.
... interestingly, the church’s ban on wrestling against females does not apply to the state tournament for individual wrestlers...
Rules/laws allowing or encouraging discrimination by definition rarely make any sense.Really? That makes no sense at all.

I have found that part to be silliest part of the entire debate/ controversy etc.....Rules/laws allowing or encouraging discrimination by definition rarely make any sense.
I have thought all wrestling season that this forum has had less high school post than previous years.1 thread about D11.
