Doesn't really mean anything but could reflect what the committee does a little...

Ohio State fell 4 spots to 8--one spot behind SMU. Curious to see if the committee has SMU (and Tennessee) ahead of Ohio State
Miami fell 7 spots to 14--behind ASU, Bama and USCe--hoping the committee does the same as Miami shouldn't be anywhere near a playoff

1 Oregon
2 Texas
3 Penn State
4 Notre Dame
5 Georgia (no impact from the GT game)
6 Tennessee
7 SMU
8 Ohio State
9 Indiana
10 Boise State
11 Alabama
12 South Carolina (33 votes behind Bama)
13 Arizona State
14 Miami
15 Ole Miss
16 Clemson

21 Illinois

Michigan actually had 2 votes lol

I think the 3 most dangerous teams on that list - if they get into the Playoffs - are Georgia, Alabama, and OSU - especially Georgia. The reason I say that are the talent levels of those 3 teams (top 3 on the 247 Team Talent Composite). Smart is a really good coach - not sure yet about Deboer at Bama. And of course, there's choke Ryan Cooper Day at OSU who finds a way to waste NFL talent. But all 3 of those teams are loaded but OSU will find a way to screw it up as long as Cooper-Day is there

So what’s the thinking on what happens to PSU & Texas should they lose in their championship games? What seed does that put us at?

Notre Dame is sitting pretty with no CCG to play in….

Those three will be 5-6-7 in some order. Likely Texas, Penn State then ND. I don't think Texas or Penn State will be penalized unless they get embarrassed

Agree on Georgia, Bama, and OSU being the most talented and perhaps scariest but given some of their losses and close games they seem a little more beatable this year…

I think Texas might have as much talent as the three you mentioned.
