After JoePa passed away, Wisconsin mens hoops played PSU at the BJC. Before
the game, Bo had all his players sign a Wisconsin hat and took it to the JoePa Statue and impromptu shrine. I wrote to Bo and thanked him. He called me back. Being a college basketball coach for 40 years, Bo has seen his share of recruiting sleaze over the years. Coming from PA, I think he admired the way Joe did things and his high standards.

Those kids had nothing to do with it remember, so you don't
penalize them. They play great basketball. They work hard. They are student athletes. Bo brought his team the other year to see the Paterno statue. Big Frank said the best player he played againt this year was DJ Newbill. They are everything which is right about college basketball.
Some folk here are so petty is is embarrassing.

Nope rooting for Wisconsin, Bo Ryan, and Frank the Tank.
Wisconsin basketball (and MSU) basketball are classy operations.
I should add, so is Duke and Coach K. I just rather see the BIG and Bo Ryan get a national title.

on the NCAA retraction of it's actions? After all it only took him.....what 10 seconds to start piling on once the NCAA report was released. Joe's name removed from the trophy, wins removed, fines etc. Yet this was all retracted over six months ago and still no comment from Mr. Delaney. Why?
No action against UM for withholding action against their kicker until the season was over and his eligibility used up. Certainly sound fishy, smell worse. LockJAR JD
