I think Courtney was around 6'6", 230 lbs, and very fast. Oweh is 6'5-6", 230 or more and very fast. Wasn't Courtney's nickname "Quiet Storm"? I wonder if he has any sons? Would love to land the next Courtney Brown, my favorite PSU defensive player ever. Is Jayson Oweh the next Courtney Brown?

Courtney Brown was one of the top recruits in the country at the time. I think it's hard to tout anyone as the next Courtney Brown.

I look at Oweh and he reminds more of Maybin than Brown.

The kind of size and speed that Courtney Brown and Lavar Arrington had back in the late nineties are a lot more common in 2017. Back then, Courtney Brown and Lavar Arrington were considered freaks of nature. Although such size and speed would still qualify them as talented, it would no longer qualify them as freaks of nature. Whether it is performance enhancing drugs or better training methods, athletes continue to get bigger, faster and stronger.

Which makes you wonder what those guys might have done with the S & C program PSU in place now.
