But Bushy (@CJFisJoePaII) may be proven right after all regarding Ohio University Football this year.

I’ll let you guys argue it out, but I do seem to remember you mocking him when he said they were going to win their division and possibly the MAC title.

Have fun with this, LOL!!

I was going to post this....OU (Oh yeah!) won the East by defeating Bowling Green last night and finishing the regular season with one MAC loss (Kent). They finish 9-3 with that Kent loss, the PSU loss (46-10) and an Iowa State loss (43-10). They plan Toledo for the MAC championship on Dec 3rd.

Unfortunately, their starting qb tore his ACL last week.

I didn't know that! Looks like the backup did quite well last night

10/21 for just under 200 yards passing and 65 yards rushing. He scored 3 TDs and passed for 1.

Biggest issue is the schedule they played is absurdly weak. Ours is the weakest I have seen joining the Big Ten, their's is worse. Two losses against 4 win teams (Kent State and Iowa State who is 1 and 7 in the Big 12) and one win over a team with a winning record in 1AA Fordham. Ohio is weak. Their wins are over the dregs of the MAC, but their losses are key.

They played the teams in front of them, won their division and have a chance to win their conference title. Dregs or not, that would be a successful season for them and flies right in the face of Lando’s claim that they were so bad that they had no chance - especially after their third loss to Kent.

That is true every year of MAC teams. They play two games to get the revenue and then, mostly, other MAC teams who did the same and enter the MAC schedule with two losses. You have to look at their MAC record. Ohio is 7-1 in conference. They beat #2, Buffalo. They will play toledo who is 5-2. Toledo lost to BG Nov 15th 42-35 and Ohio beat BG last night with their second team QB 38-14. OU is the only one-loss team in the MAC.

And they haven't beat a team with a pulse but lost to a MAC team without one. Not sure what initial comment on Ohio that started this thread was but Ohio is not a good team. Ohio is not a good team. They lost to the two teams they were supposed to lose to. They also lost to a bad MAC team. Kent State is bad. They beat a Buffalo team that lost to Holy Cross. Buffalo is bad. Ohio is not a good team.

Difference here is we might be good. We don't know because we got destroyed by Michigan and Ohio State and beat a bunch of schlubs. Purdue is our best win. Right now, Indiana looks like number two and they might be the worst team in the Big Ten. We could be mediocre, we could be good. Who knows. I don't. But Ohio is just not good.

He also said I was "wrong" a couple weeks ago in claiming that Purdue would likely match their win total from last year..... Last year, Purdue went 8-4 in Reg Season and beat Tenn in their Bowl Game to go 9-4 Overall. If Purdue beats Indiana this week, they go 8-4 in Reg Season............

slightly off topic what was Lando's previous posting "handle" ?
Asking for a friend

I think he has multiple handles honestly - namely, the equally inane "we" posing-fan trolls that start out all their responses to his asinine posts, "I agree......... blah, blah, blah.......".

To your second sentence, I was trying to instigate CJF and Lando. After we beat Ohio, Lando and CJF had a knock down drag out over how Ohio would do in the MAC. It has nothing to do with whether they are good or not - it was about one guy saying they would win their division and possibly there conference and the other saying they were going to be a MAC bottom feeder.

For supposed Penn State supporters, we sure have some MAC-level-turd posters ready to put down ANYTHING that might be construed as "positive for Penn State".

which is every MAC team. What MAC team beat a team with a pulse that is not a MAC team

EMU over Arizona State and Miami over NW are their only p5 wins this year I believe. So none did.
Didn't know that but ASU fired their HC and NW lost to Southern Illinois too. So you are 100% correct but OU is as good as any team in the MAC. They have a better record than Toledo, whom they play in the MAC championship game.

No I didn't. Not once have I said Purdue couldn't win 8 in the regular season. Lies
And you're now trying to pretend you said Ohio would win the MAC when you didn't

Not Ohio--Directional Michigan. And I never said they'd be a bottom feeder. I said they weren't the favorite and provided a link which CJF said "the media" didn't know more than him. Pay attention next time please.

You're the liar pal - you said a couple weeks ago that I claimed Purdue would match their win total from last year and I was wrong..... blah, blah, blah. You absolutely did say this and lying to claim you didn't - as per usual.

For Thanksgiving I would like to say what I'm grateful for

@CJFisJoePaII having the opportunity to prove he's a liar twice in one thread
UGa was in a one possession game midway through the 4th QTR against Kent State, who isn't even any good in the MAC! OTOH, CMU is one of the favorites to make it to the Mid-American Conference Championship Game from the West Division.

I'm still saying the worst team we played in Central Michigan. They only wins they have in the MAC are Akron (1-8) and NIU (2-7) along with a win against Bucknell. Ohio might be our best win when you consider Minnesota didn't have Morgan. If not, it's 5-4 Purdue although Purdue should at worst be 7-5 with Indiana and Northwestern on their schedule
You said Central Michigan and I said Purdue would be "at worst 7-5" meaning they could win 8 if that's the worst they could do. Thanks for playing shortbus

@KCLion I'm thankfully for your stupidity and thinking CJF knows anything about football and didn't just say CMU could win the MAC because of a game against Oklahoma State where they piled up points

Waiting for apologies which I won't get because neither of you ever acknowledge the hundreds of times you're wrong

Now he doesn't seem to remember that I pointed out Ohio's Offensive numbers, similar to Purdue, were very impressive week 1 (especially their passing numbers and QB) and they looked like they would be one of the better teams in the MAC when douche-boy was poo-pooing our wins to that point (Purdue and Ohio) as being against horrible teams who were likely to record losing seasons. I specifically said that Ohio's Offensive numbers and QB were very impressive in their opener. Now loudmouth claims he never vehemently disagreed with me and said both Ohio and Purdue were "garbage" on both sides of the ball and would be lucky to record .500 seasons.... The moron is such a nut-job pathological liar it's gotten amusing at this point.

lmao find the comments
You never once said Ohio was winning the MAC and our argument was about Central Michigan as you know unless you're senile.
Notice you ignored the Purdue part where you clearly lied but you're just a pathetic human being so not surprising. I'm sure you're someone that your wife left you long ago if someone was dumb enough to marry you

Yeah, you never said a word about any of my posts following the Purdue and Ohio games rebutting your bullshit that neither was a good win and both teams were absolute "garbage"??? Whatever you say asshole - and I'm the liar???? LMAO

You don't have any comparing Purdue and Ohio--search it
You are the liar and I proved it yet again
Purdue nor Ohio are good wins--we all know that. If they were Ohio State or Michigan's best wins you'd be saying that they suck

@CJFisJoePaII yet again this was another opportunity for you to simply admit you're wrong but you refuse to because you can't take accountability for anything. Do you want me to find more posts you were wrong about?

Uh oh, I agree with you quite a bit - is that scary for you? I’ve sided with you numerous times in your arguments with PSUUNC.

I started the thread primarily as a joke and an instigator it took on a life of its own :-(

One point I disagree is that you don’t seem to think the officiating slants toward the Big 2 whereas I believe it does.

A second is that I believe that because of the Big and Pac networks current alignment with Fox (and the Big’s even stronger alignment with other non ABC/ESPN networks in the future), you see and will continue to see far too heavy of an ESPN influence pushing the SEC, SEC, SEC narrative.

PSUUNC is someone everyone should agree with me when I argue with them
We can disagree about that the officiating. I'm not one that will ever blame the officials. Overcome or lose.
To be fair, the Big Ten and Pac XII kind of made that decision knowing the influence ESPN has but yeah I wouldn't argue that
Doesn't alter CJF and I never argued about Ohio and you were trying to say I was wrong which I wasn't :)
All's forgiven with you--CJF still won't own it though--predictably. And notice I said your "stupidity" was believing CJF knows anything about football--you know better than that

You should check out the wrestling board. Very long rants about stalling and whatever other rules that may have been bent or broken against a psu wrestler. The funny thing is most, if not all of us, agree with him. Yet we get the rule book typed out for us.
