DON'T BE A DOUCHEBAG! VOTE IN THE PSU ALUMNI ELECTION.....

I'm all for people voting.

I'm fine with people voting AND complaining.

I'm fine with folks who are disenfranchised complaining.

Only thing I'm not OK with is folks, who ARE enfranchised, NOT voting.....while complaining.

Done Voted on Wednesday. Still somewhat hopeful that someone can make a difference on that deceitful BOT.

The A9 elections are just an exercise in futility anyway.

Still waiting for that exhaustive review of the Freeh source materials.

We certainly have to do a MUCH better job of utilizing that opportunity to place 9 Responsible Stewards onto the Board

I voted last year and yet didn't receive my ballot for this year so I requested one at:

https://trustees.psu.edu/2017election/index.html

If you are an alumni and haven't received a ballot it's not too late. Elections close on May 4th.

I generally do not like to think about conspiracy, but I have to wonder how an automatic system didn't send my ballot. My e-mail address hasn't changed in years.

I am going to write-in Barry and Barry only. His methods could use some refinement but he will create some much needed controversy.

Edit: I decided to vote for Jay Paterno as well as Barry and have submitted my ballot.

Mine and many others were in junk/spam folders.

I called Votenet, the outside company that handles the election, and asked them why I hadn't received a ballot. They told me that they didn't have an email address on file. I went through my email history and sure enough I had last years email that I received from them for the election. The girl on the phone said that if I had "unsubscribed" to any offers from PSU that they (PSU) would have pulled my email. I hadn't unsubscribed to anything related to Penn State yet my email disappeared. Go figure.

What do the Bucs have to do with anything? Heck, the Spikes are a Cards affiliate again.

In another question. if one is already a douche, does voting provode any absolution?

AGN -

Thank You.

I appreciate the effort, sincerely.

Under the category of "living and learning":
I have begun preparations for next year's elections (assuming JVP, AP, and RJ will be this year's top 3...... though it would be nice to see a "shocker" there)

What I expect will be critical for next year is to "challenge" the nomination process and force PSU (Tom Poole) to include my name on the ballot.

That very well may require filing suit in Common Pleas Court (I hope not, but knowing the folks in charge at PSU......)

Anyway, along that line I am going to need to accumulate as much proof as possible...... and I am asking those folks who are willing to submit a nomination for me for next year to send me a note - either to my "Barry Fenchak for Trustee" FaceBook page, or to my email bfenchak@comcast.net

By getting ahead of the game for next year's balloting process, the odds on winning one of the three seats should improve significantly........and so:

If you are willing to submit a nomination for next year (when the time comes) please drop me a line at either of those two places - so that I will have a pre-set list going into January.

Thanks again

Barry you had my vote, until you're rants in the past 15 days or so. Poor timing.
