During the tribute to Dan Rooney, the Philly fans in attendance were very respectful. Only time there was any booing was Franco's call out to the Steelers Nation (and what can you expect then).

Anyway, when the segment began, I expected the worst, but the philly fans didn't live up to their stereotype in that instance and deserve credit.

And on top of the respect for Rooney, it looked like there was about 150,000 fans in attendance in the building and in the outside arena.

Well done Philly.

The only issue with Philly fans was the booing of the Commissioner every time he came on stage... this wasn't New England. I know that it's the trendy thing to do, but what has Roger Goodell ever done to the Eagles or the city of Philadelphia?

Goodell enjoyed it. He showed good humor throughout. He's in the spotlight. Any attention is better than no attention. Philly fans did whatPhilly fans do. They booed. I hoped Goodell would come out one time in a Santa cape and beard and let the Iggle fans re-live one of their better moments. Fans were great.

The issues with RG aren't a New England thing - all NFL fans have an issue with him
Exactly, when I was watching it wasn't just the Philly fans booing Goodell. I guess some people think that just because the draft is being held in Philadelphia, it's only the Philadelphia fans that boo'ed.

No, it wasn't just Eagles fans, but I'd bet most of the people in attendance were living in the greater Philly area...

There are fans there from all over the country. Many interviewed on tv and newspapers media. Fabulous turnout ... nephew goes to Temple and went and said the atmosphere and interactive games for fans is incredible. And it's all free. He rode the zip line above the crowd and said it was outstanding. He and all his college friends are going back tonight. The reviews have been incredible. Philly is packed right now with no more hotel rooms between the draft and Penn Relays. The Miami Marlins tv crew had to stay in Wilmington,
Delaware for their series against the Phillies. Well done to Philadelphia and crowds. There is an option to do another year there next year for the draft. I hope both sides agree to do it again. Mayor sounds like he is on board said restaurants are packed along with hotels.

Philly is lit!

Believe the estimated number was 100k last night ... just incredible. Reviews are saying Chicago was incredible the last 2 years but Philly has blown the roof off the draft. It's on now with 14 city rep's from all over the country there viewing this years draft. The competition will be fierce to host the draft from all the major city's to host the draft. Sounds like the NFL kinda leans to city's where hosting a super bow is unlikely due to weather or infrastructure and hosting the draft is their time to show off their city

For no good reason. What has the guy done to be booed all the time? Way too many people whose sole reason for existence seems to be to complain and bitch. Sadly, many are NFL fans

He gets booed at every draft. It's just like Gary Bettman. It's not a Philly thing.

In general, I agree with you, but...........allowing those thugs who punch out their girlfriend's or wives lights and denying he saw the tape when we know he did, is a boo worthy issue alone!!!!

He gets booed everywhere he goes. The only difference here is that Philly fans kick ass a booing, so this was the best ever booing of Goodell.

Spy gate super bowl .... don't you think destroying all the tapes was a bad look?

Former Eagle players have said they truly believe it had an impact on that game.
