Bc I forget , what made this transfer easy, and Wick complicated?
Think both had graduated, but Wick’s preferred program was more difficult for him to get into as some undergrad credits didn’t correlate.Grad vs undergrad

Wick didn't graduate. He was attempting to be a senior transfer which admittedly is complicated. Some professors stingy on awarding a degree in their program after 1 year of study if they don't feel a transfers coursework up until his senior year matched what they do in their program.Think both had graduated, but Wick’s preferred program was more difficult for him to get into as some undergrad credits didn’t correlate.
In an interview Wick said he chose Cal Poly because he was going to be back in CA after he graduated so why go to PSU and then go to CA. He just got back to CA in one step. Maybe he was just being kind and did not want to complain about the admissions process at PSU, but it sounded like it was his choice and not an administrative thing. TIFWIWWick didn't graduate. If Wick had graduated, he could just enroll in anything basically since it's clear his #1 priority is wrestling. I won't beat the dead horse here over the ethics of making it work since I've done that plenty but that was the difference here.
Maybe somebody should show his mom that interview. She seemed way more upset than he obviously is.In an interview Wick said he chose Cal Poly because he was going to be back in CA after he graduated so why go to PSU and then go to CA. I said I wasn't going to go down this path again so I won't. 5th +bonus? What’s the over/under on points in Detroit ? I’m saying 9.5
Sweet spot is getting seeded anywhere from 5-12, to avoid those 4 guys until the quarters. Finishing top 4 at B10s should do it. (Maybe 5th at B10s, but that's getting risky.)Drew isn't a bonuser. Stingy defense and riding. He somewhat reminds me of 133 pound Pletcher.
His ceiling is likely 5th since the top 4 is clearly Spencer, Vito, Suriano and Glory. No idea how he fares against Courtney. Wins over Teske and Latona are good.
Robbie won two matches at NCAAs last year. DH being a NQ is an improvement over what we had this year while Robbie shirts/recovers but it’ll likely take AA, which I expect, to score more than last year.5th +bonus?
Even that will be a tall order.
I'm hopeful that he can provide those points, but looking at his wins doesn't actually show that.
Even a NQ is an improvement, and a shot at more points. If he AA it's an achievement in this field.
Cael had Casey deliver a horse's head to the academic committee chairman. Just to make sure.Bc I forget , what made this transfer easy, and Wick complicated?
My math was off. I was thinking 7th with 1 bonus win.5th +bonus?

I would agree except until I see it I don't believe Suriano at 125.Drew isn't a bonuser. Stingy defense and riding. He somewhat reminds me of 133 pound Pletcher.

I’d say when Ayala redshirt is pulled this week, it’ll be pretty close to a wash with Drew. I might be wrong but DA looks pretty tough.I think Drew just moved up a peg 😉
Not saying Ayala doesn't have potential. , but Ayala has a few college matches under his belt. Drew has 4 years of accomplishments including a 6th and 4th place NCAA finish. Might be a little premature to say "they are a wash "after 2 matches at the scuffle against not highly ranked kids.I’d say when Ayala redshirt is pulled this week, it’ll be pretty close to a wash with Drew. I'm not down on Ayala, but being objective in early January with a handful of matches under his belt .Beau beat the number 5 kid and he is ranked 20th. Will he be on the podium? I hope he is .but let's see how the season plays out . There isn a body of work to be done to begin to define podium status. Beating a 12th ranked kid is good, but it doesn't put him in the podium mix automatically. . McKee has already beat him and he's ranked 9th. Last I knew you had to be top eight and he hasn't wrestled any of those guys. It's just early to jump to conclusions. However, in the QFinals he majored #12 Surtin. He wrestles #9 McKee tomorrow in the semis. I'd say he is certainly in the mix for the podium but will score a LOT fewer points than Spencer would have.
The only conclusion I jumped to is that he is in the mix for being on the podium as are about 20 other wrestlers. IMHO Beau is also in the mix at 149. That is NOT the same as thinking they WILL be on the podium, which seems to be what you are saying. Hildebrandt is certainly more in the mix. Hopefully we get to see him wrestle soon.I'm not down on Ayala, but being objective in early January with a handful of matches under his belt .Beau beat the number 5 kid and he is ranked 20th. I think you also need to look at how he has won. He’s looked dominant. I did watch him win his matches. He did look really good and you could be right. Just a little early to crown him AA at this point. Just need to see him against better competition.I think you also need to look at how he has won. He’s looked dominant. We’ll know a lot more at 1:07pm today.
