Prior to his senior season, Mike may have been the worst! I attributed it to him having been an all star volleyball player and some how his brain had a hard time processing catching or rejecting. I was even going to write CJF that it may be the issue and he just needs a reboot. I came to my senses and figured CJF receives enough correspondence from nut jobs! I never did and Mike rectified the the problem to the point he became like a vacuum cleaner, with hands of fly paper. (Yikes, double metaphor!) Despite JJ's physical abilities, the drops have to be devaluing his stock so he may opt to return in 19!

Just think how good gesicki would have been his last two years if you would have written to CJF to advise!!

What the hell are you talking about? His sophomore season was his only bad season. His junior year was spectacular. Your name (makesshiteup) is appropriate.

Absolutely correct.

His sophomore season he knocked down more passes than any defensive back in the country.

His junior AND senior years he was catching anything and everything!

JJ made what has to be one of the catches of the year on Saturday. but he also dropped some easier throws. he had the TD wiped out a couple weeks ago and that was too bad. last year though JJ was lights out. this has to be some mental thing now.

It’s almost defintely mental. You can see it in his body language on a lot of the drops.

I'm pretty sure he only has like 2 career TDs, while his QB has been putting up records for yards and TDs, so would he really be drafted as an underclassman?

Yeah plus coming out of HS he was known to be one of the best pass catchers around. That’s why it was odd when he actually wasn’t able to catch the ball.

One you are wrong Mike Gesicki was great his junior year. He couldn't catch his sophomore year. At least get your timeline correct.

Dude we had some idiot claim he was already a top 8 receiver of all time at Penn State. Does that statement really surprise you

In regards to JJ, I wonder how much of an adjustment it is when as 2nd or 3rd string receiver they are practicing with the 2nd or 3rd string QB?
